Wildlife
Dirk Opalka Taxidermy Gallery was founded in Fuhlendorf,
a town in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, in
1994. Wildlife Dirk Opalka Preparation Gallery is
a member of German Society of Taxidermists.
It is a special feature of a modern gallery like ours
that such natural animal forms are readily available
( record
achievements).
The
central aim of the company is to build complete taxidermy
for customers which embed animals in their natural
environment. This involves a lot of factors. Our guiding
principles in replicating the natural bodyforms of
animals with taxidermy - chemically toned skins and
stuffings - rely on the knowledge of the anatomy of
animals. The
high quality of our animal forms which are anatomically
true to their natural forms in detail stems from the
fact that we design and transform them individually.
This ensures that you get the unique copy of the preparation.
All over the place, there is abundance of shabby and
lacklustre taxidermic products. For us, the environment
of the living animals matters. In this regard, we
pay special attention to the entire living space and
so produce animal compositions which are close to
nature both in underground and background in a platform
that instils the sense of the real.
Our participation in taxidermy seminars and workshops
and our up-to-date information about developments
in this field through international publications have
contributed to the enrichment of our knowledge base
and also widened our skill. The production techniques
that we use agree with the modern state-of-the-art
in taxidermic methods and artistry. To ensure that
our production and abilities meet the international
standards, we constantly participate in international
competitions. We have come out in such competitions
as pace-setter and record achievers.
